Mission & Values

My mission (for this aspect of my ministry) is to spread the value of the housing allowance to as many pastors as possible so they make take advantage of this great benefit and improve the quality of their lives.

My heart grieves for pastor’s that need or want to retire, but can’t because they have made no provisions to do so.  The Word says we perish due to a lack of knowledge.  Pastors having to serve well past their ability to do so effectively is a horrible situation.  Nobody wins.  Congregations are not receiving the best and the pastors are not giving their best.  I believe in the “seasons” of life.   To live effectively, we must know the seasons of our lives; plan and govern ourselves accordingly.

A seed was planted many, many years ago when after a presentation that included the retirement housing allowance, an elderly clergy statesman stood up with tears streaming unashamedly down his face, explained that he was not well and still serving because he couldn’t afford to retire. This can be avoided with timely and proper planning.

Serving churches and clergy is my assignment, mission and passion. If a pastor refers a friend or colleague and that referral results in an opportunity to serve a pastor or a church, then there will be a significant reward in the form of free services either for the referring pastor or their church.
